I owe l know breed need sex help

    This is little D.K (Don King) we know the beautiful breed. But a little help with the sex if possible at this point would be greatly appreciated! D.K is[​IMG][/IMG] approximately 4 weeks.

    It would be best to take a photo of the bird in a natural, standing position that shows the whole bird (so no hands, etc holding it) -- this allows us to see the bird's body shape, posture, etc which are part of assessing gender at this age.

    I think wait at least 8-10 wks old. to see it it starts developing wild streamers which would indicate male. Polish are difficult to sex early just like silkies.

    I've had several polish, and i'm almost positive that yours is a pullet (hen). I suggest waiting a few more weeks and see if it's crowing. That would be a definite sign that it's a rooster.
