I purchased 5 EXPENSIVE CHICKENS, but I got a free house with the purchase!

I won't bore you with the explanation of the title, but I now have 5 chickens that are part of Janes and My life. Jane is my yellow lab. I bought a house and the 5 chickens were part of the deal. I grew up on a farm in South Dakota and we had chickens....but of course they were for different reasons other than collecting eggs.

I am not stranger to the chickens, but I am a stranger to how to raise egg laying chickens. I hope I don't/won't bug you chicken enthusiasts too much!
