anybody with me for the hatch...?
Have eggs due to pip on Jan. 8th - so I will be a couple weeks ahead of you.
I just loaded the bator up myself. Trying for LF buff columbian wyandottes. These will be f2 color project.
Put a dozen coronation/light sussex splits in today. My first try!
We got started on our first hatch with 20 of our mutt eggs last night around 5. 3 blue ee eggs, a bunch of random hatchery stock hens and 3 of our orpingtons eggs but I don't think she is fertile tbh. She runs like hell away from our ee roo. He is starting to get too aggressive towards me and I think we will have stew soon. Forgot to mention that this is also our first go at this.
i set them at midnight so i should go into lockdown on the17 or `18?
Quote:I just read a post on this exact matter and they got the response of the 18th.
I'll be setting later today. So I'll be a day behind you.
I set yesterday. 13 eggs from a coronation rooster over split hens. 10 from light sussex
First hatch from this group.
I will be setting 20 different varietys of chicken eggs at 6 oclock in the homemade bator. I am eggcited to see how many hatch and make it .
