I bought some ducks locally from a guy that said they were Welsh Harlequin. As they got older they didn't look much like pictures online of Welsh Harlequin. Inquired on here and it was confirmed they were some kind of mix breeds. Found a reputable breeder and got some hatching eggs. After hatching and a few deaths within a a few months, I was down to 4. Turned out that all 4 were male. So, I put in an order from Metzer Farms for Welsh Harlequin ducklings. They don't differentiate the different phases.
I was dumb, but I just love running my incubator, so I incubated a bunch of eggs from my mixed breed females and Welsh Harlequin males. The friends who were supposed to take them didn't take them and so my Metzer Farms ducklings and my mixed breed ducklings grew up together.
It was obvious on many that they were from the mixed breeds and not from Metzers. Here is what I have left. Just want some confirmation that these all look like Welsh Harlequins. These will be from Metzers so some will be gold phase and some silver phase.
They were shipped from Metzer farms in October 2017
