    Okay, I'm posting this as a new thread. I want to know what everyone thinks.

    7 weeks old
    "brown" frizzle cochin bantam (is what the hatchery said)
    one of three chicks.....

    That's a pretty red and large comb/wattles for a 7wk old. I'd be leaning towards roo...but it's still early yet.

    I can't imagine a pullet with wattles and a comb that large at just 7 weeks. Has is started trying to crow yet?

    well I'm not exactly sure if it's crowing or not...and since there's 3 of them I can't really tell which one it's coming from...however one of them is doing something kinda like...

    peep peep peep peep peep peeeeeeeeeeeeaaappp peep peep peep...

    haha..that's my chicken impersonation [​IMG]

    also, this one tends to stand real tall and flap it's wings a little more than the other two...
