I think I ruined my hatch :(

I don't know what I was thinking. It has got to be old age or something.
This is our 3rd or 4th time hatching.
All other times have been successful and we've done great.

I put our eggs in and for some insane reason I had it in my head that we only turned eggs once per day.
so that is what I've been doing. I don't think I could be any more angry with myself.

My daughter just pointed out that she thought it was three but figured I knew what I was doing so she didn't say anything.
So I went back and looked here and at my notes from previous hatches and of course it was three.

What would possess me to go with one? I'm so upset.

Is there any hope that they'll be OK? Day one was quite a while ago

I've heard that some people don't turn at all and have good hatches. If I understand correctly, you turn to keep the embryo from sticking to the side of the egg. You did turn at least once a day, so my guess would be that everything will be ok. I hope someone with more knowledge speaks up.

Chances are you will be just fine - there is a lot of wiggle room on these rules you know. Mother hens dont read the books so there is lots of variation.

I will be out of town for 2 days this weekend - wont turn mine at all during that time. I'm sure they will be fine too.
