I went out to the coop and I noticed my Japanese Bantam Hen had poop all around her vent and something red was sticking out. She kept reaching back to try and preen herself, so I picked her up. There was red tissue with poop all over it sticking out of her vent. I put her bottom in a bucket of warm water and gently got all of th poo off. I tried to push it back in, but it would just come right back out, so I put her in a cat cage in my room so she could rest by herself. The same thing happened a few months ago, but it went back in after I washed it. I am not sure what to do. Any help would be appreciated, and I could post pics if you need it, but it is kind of disgusting looking. Thanks!
