I think my "hen" is really. Roo?

    I got some mystery chicks from the feed store they were supposed to be all hens but one of my "hens" has started crowing. Can anyone take a guess at this chickens gender or breed?

    I don't know what breed though.

    It's a rooster all right, and it looks like a mixed breed.

    It's hard to tell in the pic, but his legs look like he might have scaly mites?

    Thanks. I hope it's just a bad phone photo and not mites but will keep on eye on it. I think its safe to say I have a mutt rooster?
