i think my muscovie eggs are hatching how do i know forsure

Are the eggs in an incubator or under a duck?

It would be easier to candle the eggs or watch them for signs of movement if in the incubator- but if they are under a duck- it may be best to just leave her alone awhile and let things happen.

When you see ducklings - if you see a chick those are some other kind of eggs.

If you can get into the nest you can "float" the eggs in warm water if their good they will float because the air pocket they have made the bad ones will sink

If they are hatching and pipped this may just flood the air sac & drown the duckling. candling is the best option, or waiting to see ducklings!
