One of my 23 week red stars has holed herself up in a nesting box and is rearranging all the wood chips. She is usually skittish and she didn't run away when we came to check on her. We have given her some privacy. I'm so excited!
UPDATE-we just got back from errands to find a beautiful, perfect, brown egg! WooooHooo!!!
Daphne's egg is the one on the right. The one on the left is store bought.
