After 2-3 days of no eggs (as far as I know), Prissy laid this. In situ, it looked like a long blob of pale yellow jello. Here is a link to the pic: http://img46.imageshack.us/img46/6733/hpim2257cd6.jpg/url

Didnt work, you have to hit word-link first and paste your image code in there.

It worked for me, but the pic is so big that it's hard to get detail. Grrrrrr!!

I had some girls that laid eggs resembeling that. Nothing to freak out about. Are your girls new to laying. I know that was the problem with mine. Just new to the whole "wow I'm making an egg". It takes some time for their bodies to adjust to the process. Just continue with laying feed and oyster shell and they'll adjust to making eggs the right way.

That was kinda my thinking . . . it's just a newbie layer thing. But then I thought, "well, maybe I should be worried!" And so on . . .

Prissy laid a nice little egg today; I guess I will continue to watch and learn.
