    Hi Everyone!

I would like to ask the experts out there if they can identify this breed if it isn't a faverolle and if it is a roo or a pullet! I was originally thinking Faverolle Roo, but against my other Faverolles this one seems to be missing the beard!

S/he is 14 weeks of age now, and this one is the runt of the flock so gets bossed around a bit!

Would love to know your thoughts :D S/he is very beautiful!

It could be a buff brahma mix, but it doesn't look pure. Maybe mixed with a golden laced wyandotte? Very pretty pullet, though.

Where did she come from? Could be from a Brahma color project or mixed flock of Brahma varieties.

She looks like a possible Light Brahma mix to me.

Have just done a little bit of research, could she be a dorking?

No, not a Dorking; they don't have feathered legs. I'm thinking maybe a Brahma, Faverolle mix.

Does she have five toes? If so maybe Brahma x Dorking.

It is a she and the color is called Quail in the poultry hobby. Be aware, the color varies a good bit so don't worry about finding an exact match.

She reasonably looks like a brahma, especially if she came from a hatchery. Either they have quail brahmas or there was a color mixing going on.. some color crosses will give patterns like this.
