I knew my rooster was perfect for us, but I had no idea what a treasure he was til he was gone. I lost him this past Sunday, he was my only breeding rooster. He was a Columbian Wyandotte. I immediately started checking into finding a replacement. After a wonderful 2 years with him, I knew I definitely wanted another Wyandotte, either a Columbian, or maybe one of the laced variety. Had no idea it would be so hard to find one. Good quality Wyandottes are few and far away. And not to mention expensive, lol. Columbo was given to us when a local safari park went under. He was the mascot, so to speak. Anyway, I am now realizing what a treasure we had. I'm sorry ya'll, for going on at such length about my rooster as if he were gold or something, I just miss him. Had to kinda vent.
