And brought home four new chickies today! Ok, in my defense I have had 3 female turkens ordered for over a month now. They were supposed to come with my order of ducks and geese. . .however, somehow they didn't arrive like they were supposed to. I am told "Oh, we don't know why they didn't come. Maybe we will find out for you. . ." This is the same place that sexed my goose using a pendulum. . . So I decided I might as well just grab some at the feed store! Here they are: Three turkens and a little faverolle (the store only had three turkens, so I chose my second favorite breed for the fourth. Oh, was it hard to stay away from those adorable little bantams, though and just stick with my original plan. . .! Sooooo easy to get chicks now that I have a second brooder set up. . . but I digress): Can you tell this one loves the camera? I got it in almost every single picture! The faverolle has a black spot on its back. Do you think that means it will be a boy?? Here's hoping I got some girls in the mix Guess I should have brought my pendulum to be sure! HA ha.
