I went over and got that turkey this after noon/evening. I personally still don't know for sure if male or female, but it is so pretty, I got it anyway. Am going to think positive and call her a "her". Maybe if it is a tom/boy, that will change it to female.
Thought it would only be 1 1/2 hour to get there and another hour and half back. Left at 2:00 this afternoon and got home 7:30 this evening. I think it may have taken a bit longer than expected.
Tom was all settled in for his roosting for the night when we got home, so let the new one out close to him and am hoping for the best.
Love the blue or grayish color with those black spots spread around. Better than in the pictures.
