A bird that is split for something looks like a normal bird. All the chicks will look like normal IB's ,and be heterozygous for the pied gene.
 
Nope ,they will all be normal looking.

They will all be carrying a gene for pied.

What Blob is saying is all the peachicks that your pair produce will look like regular IB. When those peachicks get old enough to breed, depending on what they are bred to, they could have pied peachicks, because they will carry the "gene" for pied in their genetics.
