It is down to the wire for us. I cannot wait to see these babies. These are our own buff silkie line starting and our blue/black/splash orp babies from our own flock. If fertility stays good and hatching goes well this month, I will be offering blue/black/splash orpington eggs for sale starting in February. [IMG] [IMG] This is a small batch (5 eggs), with batch two just starting in the bator this week. Now hopefully murphy's law will stay away for a while...[IMG] [IMG]

[IMG] I'm on IBW myself for just one egg, LOL. She's ending Day 19 now, a lone Barred Rock, but the first collaboration between one of my pullets from helmstead's stock and my Hawkeye.

All orpingtons are hatched and are happy fuzz balls! 1 buff silkie hatched also---My first Arnold Schwartzichicken baby. (Arnold is my Buff Silkie Roo---he is aptly named--[IMG], you should see his legs). I don't think the other silkie is going to hatch, I candled it and it does not look good, but i'll leave it in the bator for another day. More orps in the bator, I am running out of room....hmmm what to do with the extra eggs....[IMG]
