Much to my surprise, Feathersite has an entry for Icelandic Chickens, which are evidently quite an old breed developed by the Vikings. Does anyone here on BYC have any experience with them? Thye come in lots of colors, lay white eggs, and have white ear lobes.

I'd love to have some because Iceland is one of our favorties places.

There was a link to this farm http://webpages.charter.net/sweetgaiafarm/ on Feathersite. You might call them and see if they'll ship you some hatching eggs. [IMG] Their site says to contact them about availability of eggs, so it seems they would be willing.
