Icelandic chickens

    I saw a link where someone had young hens for 10.00 each if you see this please contact me here or at [email protected] I'm new to the Icelandic I have 5 pullets just over 5 mo. old and already starting to lay I love the way they look no 2 look alike and I would like to have some more pullets and a couple more roosters also I have Sweedish Flower Hens and I love them and have Barred Leghorns really love them only weigh 3-3.75 pounds lay large and xl eggs almost every day and 3 will eat about what 2 normal white leghorns very suprising for such a small bird and they start laying at 4 mo. old and about 21/2 lb also have some young BBS Brauma and have a order in for some BBS Australof chicks very rare new to the site hope to learn more thanks Dryfork52

    Why don't you check out the "Icelandic" thread " - just put that in the search box and it will pop up. I don't know if that is a fair price or not, but, wonder if the breeder is keeping the line pure and not letting any roos near the Icelandic girls, unless they are Icelandic roos. You want to know more than price, you want to know what is behind them.

    Sounds like you have a nice mixed flock. Good luck finding the Icelandics, drumstick diva is right...try using the Search feature, results should pop up.
