The assortments of bantams I've seen the feed stores get from Ideal included lots of OEGBs, Silkies, some d'Uccles and Moderns.

Quote:I've seen some cochins in there as well, but at a couple of days old, it's hard to tell if they are frizzled. [IMG]

I got this mix a few years ago and got bbr oeg's, silkies blue white and partridge, cochins blue mottled white and partridge(1 was a red frizzle), golden sebrights - that's all I can think of off the top of my head. They all did really well and my daughters fav was the oegs. I still have most of them including a cochin roo that loves to ride down the slide with my daughter [IMG]

IIm exited for you! I have cochins myself and it is SO fun to whatch them grow. What an experience. Especially cochins, not only do you whatch them grow, you whatch there feathered feet grow, there form grow there cushion, and most of all there personality grow. more so than other chickens i think [IMG]
