Identify this baby!!

    i am raising an orphaned wild duck. It was found in a pond all by its lonesome and brought to me. Looks like a mallard but after studying it more it may be a teal or American black duck? It's super tiny similar to wood duckling size (I know it's not a woody). It's springy and likes to jump like a woody though. Help! :)

    It's a mallard , get it a little friend it would be awesome, buy some niacin or brewers yeast and add to its food

    That is what I was thinking however he is so tiny compared to my other mallard babies I've had. Maybe just a runt but I will tell you he makes up for his size in tenacity!!!
