Identifying new baby chicks.

We recently bought 12 assorted bantam chicks at TSC in Gray Louisiana. Does anyone know what breed these would be?

If legs are feathered they are most likely Cochins.

Yes they all are feathered. Any idea on a color from the pics?

We pretty confident on 3 chicks out of the 12. These are four we didn't know. Figured they may be cochins but wondered about the color.

Look to be a bunch of fluffy little Cochins. As far as colors, I definitely spy some Partridge in the mix. Time will tell in the case of the others.

I agree with Alexandra33, definitely cochins and x2 on the partridge! The lighter blackish white one, possibly a silver laced? Easier to tell once they're older. I LOVE cochins, they're my favorite breed! Good luck with yours!

Thanks! The cochin is my wife's favorite also. We have a white and partridge cochin. Both standard. And I just recently bought 3 black cochin bantams that are 8 months. So looks like we fixing to have some more.

Cochins are a great breed - come in all colors and mama's tend to be good broodies.
When they are all feathered out at 8 weeks, is a good time to post photos. They are much too young right now. A good time for the last chick with clean legs - you can see color is changing already.

Could you post individual pictures of them, like the last pic? I'm thinking mainly cochins, but close ups will help with determining color.
