I would say to my baby chicks...

You cannot effectively dust bathe in straw mixed with chick crumbles.

Small pieces of straw are not food.

Please stop pecking each other and jumping on each other.

3:30am is not morning time, it is sleeping time.

    I love you.

Love your wonderful pictures Cielo! Thanks. That is the first time I have seen a baby Turken.

Post more---when your California Grays get bigger.....they look like barred rocks only the black is more of a gray/charcoal color right? :O)
    Good job.

I am excited about the California Greys, these are my first. I believe you are correct on coloring. The female is noticeably darker from what I understand. The male is quite light. White eggs too!

I love Turkens. So goofy looking!

My turken babies are now 7wks old and they are awesome birds... I never wanted them before because of their looks, but I now think they are beautiful birds and look like they will make a great meat bird too, much bigger than their siblings EExbuff orpington and BRxBO...
