If you can hear your chicken breathing very loud is this bad?

one of our show chickens (bantam bb red) has very loud breathing all of a sudden? should we be concerned?

Are there other symptoms?

It's hard to get an idea of what might be wrong from your description. I'm guessing that the bird is stressed or dealing with an illness.

Has this chicken been to a show lately where it may have picked up some respiratory illness? If so, I'd check into antibiotics ASAP. Otherwise, more info would be helpful. Runny nose/eyes? Appetite/activity normal? etc.
