    Same as title: If you found an open box of cream of wheat in your cupboard dated 2006, would you make it and feed it to your chickens?

    if you think its safe for you to eat it than you can feed it to the chickens.

    Personally, I'd check it over and if it looked okay I'd have no qualms about eating it myself. "Best by" dates are pretty subjective, imo. We just ate boxed stuffing dated 2007 for Thanksgiving.......

    so yeah, no problem with the chickens. As stated, bugs would just be meat group!
