Ijima Copper Pheasant

    I was just curious if anyone had any of these pheasant in the US. I was browsing and came across a website from the UK and these are beautiful birds. I would like to know if they are raised over here and whether eggs or birds could be purchased.

    Never seen them before, but they are very pretty! Good luck finding a breeder. maybe try ebay for eggs?

    I personally don't know any breeders, but i know they are here in the US, right now their is a 2010 scintillated copper male for sale on bidbirdauctions.

    The auction says some of the tail feathers are broken. Do they grow out or back?

    if you go to gbwf.org and go to the join the forum, u can put a add out for a hen, I'm sure you'd find a hen.

    Where I got my Mountain Quail from he had coppers, nasty lil things.

    All breeds of coppers are very flighty.
