Mine has been telling me to downsize some of these chicks. Today, I told him I was going to sell the 4 buff chicks and my buff rooster and he threw a fit.
Not the buffs! Well, it's not going to be the lavenders....
He just "thinks" he wants some to go.

Haha! That's awesome! I bought 2 EEs and snuck them into my brooder with 30 BO, 9 RSL and 1 CM hoping DH wouldn't notice. The next day, when he noticed and asked about them he asked if they are boys or girls. I told him I don't know - they were straight run. He said "Then why'd you only get 2? Why don't you go get 4 more to increase your odds of getting at least 1 girl?" He actually drove me over to go get more! And guess what?! I chose well, because all 6 are girls!!! DH is very excited for hopefully green eggs!

OMGosh I'm so glad I'm not the only one. My DH has given up I think. He does like the eggs, so now when I come in with more chicks he just ask if he should build another coop!
