My chicks that turned a week old today are out free ranging with their adopted mamas, doing great. I check on them about once an hour and all is well.
Just now I went to check on them and didn't immediately see them. Finally found them, all ganged up around one of the adult outside waterers. It's up on cinder blocks so they had to wait their turn to jump up and get a drink. Reminded me of a bunch of kids waiting at the school water fountain.
Bad chickie mama forgot to put chick sized waterers out this morning.
