    Hi Everyone!
I'm a Canuck Farmer named Tanya Sweet. My husband and I own Swiftwind Farms in Lyndhurst, Ontario, Canada! Our house property was zoned rural residential when we bought it. Our township is redoing the bylaw so we can have chickens in our zone as opposed to only allowed on agricultural land with a minimum of 5 acres. Being a primary cash crop and hay producer, I look forward to becoming more knowledgable about chickens.

Greetings from Kansas, Tanya, and [IMG]! Great to have you in our community! Happy you are able to have chickens. BYC is the greatest place to get information and assistance. A great first stop is the Learning Center - it will get you off to a fast start on chicken care and maintenance! Best of luck and have fun!
