We just got our 1st Black Silkies about a week ago. They are three three month old. They are cracking me up! We are building their coop and at the moment they are in a run with 2 small wire spools with straw bedding inside. Every night a 6:30 it's time for bed. They start cackling and squawking for me to tuck them in. I sit in a chair inside the pen and they hop up on my lap, I gather them in my arms and tuck them into the spool where they settle in. I hope when the coop is done they won't expect me to tuck them in. We have 6-8 more chicks coming in a few weeks. All different breeds and I can't wait to be a Mommy again.
