Im at a loss

One of my RI Reds, isolated herself and in 2 days she was laying down, I took her and put her under a nice tree pet her until she passed yesterday. This is 2 in a month. I have a clean coop, All my chickens have clean water, Organic Food, Never feed them bread and crap like that. They have a big run with their duck friends. I just don't know, she didnt seem to have any injuries, her comb was red but as she became sicker it flopped. Does anyone know what this could be, I dont want this to wipe out my entire flock...

It's sad to lose a hen like that.

If you still have the body, refrigerate it and make arrangements to send it to your state lab for analysis. This will give you answers.

There's a lot of things that hens can die from so, it would be hard to even take a guess. Possibly reproductive, but who knows without taking a look inside.
