I bought some baby roos (4 months) and i put them in with my hens (6 months old). They would occasionally bully them but it has been 3 weeks and they have pretty much stopped.
Last night it was 7 degrees but the roos were under the hens all snuggled up.
Today they seemed fine this morning. But now I go out and find them both dead.
No signs of predation or disease. They are fat and intact. Just dead.
Non of the hens are dead. Or even looking sick.
Any ideas?
Could it have been the cold from last night? It warmed up above freezing today.
Thanks
