Our 5 year old grandson is staying with us for the weekend. In anticipation of his visit I bought him a police officers toy set. I didn't stop to think that a police officer would of course carry a whistle.

Hubby is now threatening to fill that whistle with glue. [IMG]

Eeek, kids were at county fair this week, and one of the lovely rides gave them plastic whistles, then the health department had little book bags for kids with bandaids and safety whistles, and then got cowbells for "riding the bull." Eeeeekkkk, suddenly they have all gotten lost, wonder what happened? The police whistle then could always reappear before going back home to parents. [IMG]

He's not too young anymore. [IMG]

Little Ricky was an accomplished drum player by age 5. Your GS just needs to practice. Lots and lots of practice. [IMG]

Gritsar- You are EVIL!!! EEEEEEEEEEVVVVIIIIIILLLLL!!! A drum set is my WORST nightmare!!! With 4 boys, (and one more on the way soon!) I have been fending off requests for drums and electric guitars for years now. Dont think my nerves could take it! [IMG]

You could be disowned for such a gift- fair warning!! [IMG]

Certainly. Most artists need their own personal environment to reach perfection.
