Recently, my roo has started laying low and spreading his wings like he's ready to be mounted, ( I'm dying of embarrasment typing this) when I go to pick him up. Is this normal? I've only seen it with my hens, so I'm just a little baffled.[IMG]

  4. GOOD THING. pick him up and carry him around with you. Do this often as he will be challenging you if you do not.

I'm pretty sure it's a boy. Cotton is our White Crested Polish and he has more of that rocker look to his top feathers as opposed to the girls who have that wider do.
