    I have 2 quails.
    They're 2 weeks and 4 days old.
one of them I think she's obviously a girl.

But another one is really confusing.. I would like to know if it's a girl or boy. :(

Still a little young. Easiest to tell at about 4 weeks old.

Guessing the 2nd quail will be male with the faint rust starting to show

The Pharaoh do all start out looking like girls then the rusty colour starts to appear. I actually like the Italians better because I can tell right from the start (instead of getting my hopes up that I have more girls than boys)!

Young male just starting to get that colour coming through on his chest:

    oh my god.
    He was just crowing earlier.
    He is a boy!
but wow I didn't expect to hear he crows when he's just 1 day before 3 weeks old.

This is just a video of him when I was trying to record he doing it again.
but he didn't do it. :/
