I'm expecting a busy egg week!

Wow. Just, wow! I'm expecting Silkie eggs in the mail tomorrow from one shipper and 2 additional shipments from other breeders coming a day or two after that.

So, I'm looking at 18 ++ eggs. I'm hoping DH doesn't get too curious about what's in the incubator

It's been running all day and I've been keeping an eye on the temp to make sure everything is running smoothly. Keeping my fingers crossed for a good hatch!

I started out with 18 eggs in January, then over 60 eggs in February, then about 50 eggs in March, now just 22 eggs for April.

Aaaah hatching addictions.

Only 22 in April? You've got some catching up to do!

This will be my first hatch and I am so ready for it! Incubator is all ready to go. After spending a week testing and adjusting, it had better dang well be ready!

If I have a successful hatch, my neighbors had also better be ready to adopt some extra Silkies!

I'm using a Little Giant. I've got a homemade bator as well but I don't have the PC fan yet to help regulate the temps (still in USPS transit

). I figured that I'd use the Little Giant which was loaned to me.
