I'm so excited! A guy I work with is getting out of chickens, and he's selling me his 1 1/2 year-old 1502 Digital Sportman for $300. WOW! I can't wait. He's bringing it in to work tomorrow. As luck would have it, I have 30 Dark Cornish hatching eggs being shipped to me today, so I will get to try it out right away. Looks like I will be able to retire my Genisis or use it as a back-up.

If my wife thinks I have a problem now, wait until I can hatch out 90 a week, instead of 40 every three weeks.

Congrats on the incubator...having a big incubator is an addiction

  3. Good for you! When we got our first sportsman it totaly paid for itself in about 6 months thru selling the chicks it hatched. On the down side you can get yourself into trouble with the hatching volume. lol
