I have 11 at the moment, and they are outside on their own..i had 5 in a brooder and 6 outside with momma, and anothr momma that was looking after the others, so i added the 5 brining my total to 11 and they all live happily, i have never raised my ducks in brooders for more than a week, and then they are out because its so hot in florida and i ususly only do it in summer so almost no need except predators. I think muscovies are pretty easy to care for! Have fun!

Can't help you with the selling part, but mine have been rather easy to care for! They were cleaner in the brooder than when I had my chicks in it!
And of course they are a complete and total delight! You certainly won't be disappointed [IMG]

Congrats on getting the scovies! I have around 18 adults and over 100 babies and they are still hatching out. I sell fertile eggs for 1-2.00 each or babies for 6.00. I drop prices because I want to sell them and not keep them all. Our auctions in Wa. sell adults for 15-20 each but I notice all black go for more here. Good luck!!

They are easy to raise. Depending on your area, you could possibly sell them as much as $20.00.
