    What does BYC think?
I guessed an OE of some kind, as I am told it is a bantam, but other than that I can't say I've figured it out.
The chicken was sold at a local feed store or something, so I don't think it is a mutt from someone's personal group.

Looks like a cross between a Black Breasted Red and Silver DuckWing Old English Game Bantam Rooster.

Well, that makes me feel better that my first impulse of it being an OE shouldn't be way off.

I would say an OEG... But then again you were looking for educated guesses. [IMG]

    Chris, Tom , & Silkie -

I think you are all correct!
I found a picture of another Silver Duckwing that does look quite similar:

They look just like my OE Bantams that I gave to my friend.

Quote:Is that the specific OE's you had?
I am just asking for a fellow who wasn't sure what he had. Very pretty bird though.
