Will be moving to Honesdale, PA from LI soon and I need a coop for my chickens and ducks. Does anyone know where I can buy one up there or any builders. If anyone can help me please email me at [email protected]. Thanks Debbie

Quote:Agway has some, but they won't hold more than 6-8 chickens. How many do you have/want? You could also look into buying a shed and converting it. There are several local places that sell sheds, including Home Depot. You can get someone to build you one, but it won't be cheap!

Good luck. Contact me if you need more info around this area. Welcome!

Homedepot and Lowes have last years display sheds on sale for 50% off right now.

Really depends what you want to spend. The pre-made ones looked rather simple to me, for the $4,000 - $6,000 price tags. (displayed at local fairs). I would check out the little green houses and sheds at HD, and Tractor supply was selling a cute one for $600 if I remember correctly, probably enough for 10-15 chickens.
