I'm new here! Help finding bantam female chicks

I want the smaller bantam hens for my first go-around as a "chicken master", but I noticed that McMurray does not sex any of their bantys. Does anyone know where I could purchase banty chicks of various breeds and be guaranteed females? I'm not in a rooster-loving zone.

Where are you located? There may be BYC folks who may be willing to sell you bantam pullets.

Thanks for the referral. I live in Benicia, CA. It's about 50 miles east of San Francisco. All the other entries I saw with regard to this subject said that there are very few breeders in northern california, for some reason. Mail order is fine with me!
