Im new here. Raising chcikens in hot Arizona.

Hello all. I have one silkie rooster, Sid. And two silkie hens, Blondie and Deedee. As of today I have one newly hatched egg and one still waiting to hatch. My rooster was excited and bouncing up and down, I was afraid he might crush an egg or chick so I separated them downstairs and have water and chick food upstairs. Just waiting and hoping everything will work out for chick 2.
