I want to thank you all for allowing me on this site. I have 65 chickens 30 rhode island reds 20 sextons 8 banties 2 dominaqers and 5 leghorns. I love all of my chickens and I'm glad that I'm not the only one who name their chickens. Everyone kept telling me that it's bad luck to name your chickens, but my chickens are thriving and my husband tells me that I spoil the chickens but I don't think I'm spoiling them I just tell him they are well loved. I love the different topics you all discuss.

Welcome from Western Washington, home of what was going to be a nice small flock of 4 to 6 hens and so 34 hens later this has been a good first year.
P.S. and I am not counting all the roos and meat birds that have been here with us. It is addictive.
