Hello there! We are located in central Victoria in Australia. We moved here from Melbourne about 6 months ago to a house on an acre equipped with a pretty large chook run and house. Two days ago we finally got some residents for said run! A flock of six Hylines at 19 weeks old. They seem a fairly calm bunch and I am in love with them already. I went to check on them yesterday late morning and to my surprise I found an egg! I was not expecting one so soon, especially as it is late winter here and just moved in! I'm thinking that one might be slightly older than the others, her comb is bigger and redder and she is larger and seems to be the boss lady. Any advice or tips will be appreciated and I will have a good look around the site.
