Hello everyone, I am new to this site so forgive me if I am doing or posting wrongly. That being said, I have a problem. Okay so, I have some bantam chicks that are close to two months old. They aren't as big as the adults so I am afraid to put them in the main lot just yet even though their mother is already there. Next, I have some more bantam chicks that are about 3 weeks old, still with their mother. Lastly, I have a small bantam hen with two babies that are 1 week old. *It is also worth noting that the hen with the 3 week old chicks and the hen with the 1 week old chicks both sat on the same nest and since the eggs were layed at differing times I would take the babies after I moved one hen to a brooder pen and put them with her as they hatched whilst leaving the other hen on the nest to hatch them til she hatched the last two. Now here is where my problem comes in: I have another bantam hen that has started hatching her chicks (5 hatched last I checked) and I have nowhere to put them as all of my brooder pens are full. So, should I try putting the two month old chicks in the big lot or placing the two 1 week old chicks in with the 3 week old ones that are their brothers and sisters from the same nest and two mamas? Or, any kind of suggestion that anyone can think of other than the ones I listed would be great. I just really need the space and it is stressing me out not knowing where these chicks are going to go. Thank you in advance!
