I checked her vent and wings and they point to female. However I've no clue what breed she is! The egg that was still semi-attached to her was labeled "BbB 7/17." Would could BcB stand for? I'm sure the second B stands for bantam but IDK what the "Bc" part is. BTW she has little feathers on her legs! SOOOO CUTE! Just hatched yesterday. [IMG]

    Any ideas??

I would bet they use a system like B for black and bB for blue. So the parents were a Black mated to a Blue. That chick will either be blue or black.

Darn it. I already have like EIGHT cochins! LOL I didn't want anymore! I just saved her and thought she'd be some other breed. Looks nothing like my ladies outside. Oh well, I still love her.
