I have been looking for that long hay like grass for my button quail nest box..well the other day when i was at the river fishing i saw a whole big patch of long dead grass that was perfect for them..so i got hand fulls of it and took it home and clean it and let it air dry on the porch.. well today i put it in box nest boxes and when i just look there's a hen in each nest box making a nest!
there should be one egg in each nest by tonight... they really love the long hay grass
