The race starts at 7 am.
We will be rooting for you!!!!!
I did two walk marathons, one in my late 40s and one in my 50's. The second one was an ultra marathon- 6 miles the first day, 27 the second day, and 20 the 3rd day. I am significantly overweight so it was quite a challenge but I did it. It is the most amazing feeling.
That is amazing, hikerchick! How awesome for you!
Wow! Go get'em lady!
I finished in approximately 3:09:00...that's about 14:45 per mile. I really surprised myself. I didn't stick around for my official time because it was ridiculously cold out; I'll get it later on the race website.
Yeah, I probably shouldn't have walked in running shorts when we had a hard frost... Brrrrrrr... I couldn't feel my legs at all when I was done, and I was shivering like a crazy woman.
WOW, that was some speed walking.Good for you!!! Congrats.
Doesn't it feel really good?
Bravo!!!!! standing ovation from EC...... you rock!!!
