I had a duck hatch out 6 ducklings a couple of months ago, time went by and we sold two of the girls.
I have decided to keep one of the girls but we have failed to sell our two left over drakes from the batch.
If I were to keep one of the drakes, would next years offspring be deformed/ have problems as the drake would be mating with both mother and sister ?

Whilst inbreeding isn't the best, from experience and reading up on the subject, I believe it would take around four generations of inbreeding for effects to show. I have had muscovies with issues, either dying in the shell, dying as a very young duckling, or failing to thrive as an adult. These birds are the results of inbreeding.

I doubt that your birds would be greatly affected by first generation inbreeding, but be cautious. All the best.

Birds generally seem to handle inbreeding quite well, but that does not guarantee that no abnormalities would occur. It's all dependent upon what is in the DNA.
