Hey fellow chicken lovers!
Just a heads up that the Poultry Swap Meet in Imlay City is this Saturday! It will be held at the Eastern Michigan Fairgrounds on Van Dyke.
I went last year and had a great time. They had all kinds of equipment for sale. People set up their tables and have chickens, turkeys, ducks, quail, guinneas, etc for sale, some chicks, some grown. Several were selling breeding pairs and trios. A few people even had goats and puppies for sale!
I believe that people start setting up at 6:00 a.m., so maybe show around 7:00 or 8:00 to give all the sellers a chance to get there and get situated. (I went at 6:00 a.m. last year and had to keep making the rounds since sellers kept showing up!)
I may have to give in this year and buy more birds...
